Terms and Conditions
The legal stuff — written in plain English. The full rental terms also appear in the bilingual contract you'll sign before delivery.
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at azpartyandinflatablerentals.com (the "Website") operated by Arizona Party & Inflatable Rentals ("we," "us," "our") and the rental of equipment from us. By using the Website or renting from us, you agree to these Terms.
The actual rental agreement is captured in the bilingual contract you sign before delivery — that contract takes precedence over anything on this page if there's a conflict.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and the property owner (or have explicit owner permission) to rent equipment from us. By signing a rental contract, you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. Bookings, deposits, and payment
- Booking is confirmed when you sign the rental contract — no money required at booking.
- $50 refundable security deposit is collected in cash at delivery.
- Rental payment can be by cash at delivery (current default). Card and Stripe coming in a future phase.
- Cancellation tiers as posted on the Rental Policy page.
4. Use of equipment
By accepting delivery, you agree to:
- Follow all safety rules posted on equipment (specifically inflatable rules — capacity limits, age limits, supervision)
- Provide adult supervision at all times when children use inflatables
- Not modify, repair, or attempt to relocate equipment after our setup
- Not use equipment in unsafe weather conditions (wind > 15 mph, rain, lightning)
- Notify us immediately of any damage or safety issues during the rental period
5. Liability and assumption of risk
Inflatable rentals carry inherent risks. By renting an inflatable, you and your guests acknowledge:
- Use of inflatable equipment carries risk of physical injury
- We are not responsible for injuries that occur during use of properly-installed equipment used in accordance with safety rules
- The contracting customer assumes liability for injuries to guests/attendees
- The contracting customer is responsible for damage to the equipment caused by misuse or guest negligence beyond normal wear
We carry equipment liability appropriate for our scale. We are not currently licensed/insured for general public liability — see Insurance disclosure in Section 11.
Recommended: if your event has elevated liability concerns (large public gathering, high-risk demographics), contact us about additional event insurance options before booking.
6. Damage and loss
- Normal wear is expected and included.
- Damage beyond normal wear may be assessed against the security deposit.
- Significant damage exceeding the deposit will be invoiced with photo evidence within 7 days of pickup.
- Theft or total loss may be reported to police and processed accordingly.
7. Photo release
By renting from us, you grant us limited permission to:
- Photograph equipment as set up at your event location (general establishing shots — no identifiable people without separate consent)
- Use those photographs in our marketing materials, including this Website and social media
You can opt out of any photography at booking — let us know in writing.
We will not photograph identifiable individuals (faces, distinctive features) without separate written consent.
8. Service area and delivery
- Standard service area: 8 cities listed on our Service Area page.
- Outside the standard area: quoted per event.
- We reserve the right to decline delivery to locations that are unsafe, inaccessible, or outside our reasonable service capacity.
9. Weather
We reserve the right to cancel or modify rentals due to unsafe weather conditions, with refund provisions as described on the Rental Policy page. Safety is non-negotiable.
10. Privacy
Information you provide (name, contact, event details, payment info) is used only to fulfill the rental and communicate with you. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as necessary to operate (payment processors, etc.).
We do not currently track website analytics in detail. When we add analytics, we'll update this section.
11. Insurance disclosure
As of this writing, we are working through obtaining standard commercial liability insurance for party rental operations. Until that's in place, we recommend customers with large gatherings or elevated liability concerns add their own event insurance via a third-party provider. We will update this section once insurance is active.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always at azpartyandinflatablerentals.com/terms-and-conditions. The Terms applicable to your rental are those in effect at the time you sign the rental contract.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Disputes are resolved in courts located in Maricopa County, AZ.
